Video Blog post on my practical approach to Karama

  • Nice and interesting video. I think your view has a lot going for it, certainly what you describe is part of the mechanism, so to speak.
I believe that Karma is a mechanism for us to learn what we need to learn in order to grow and be able to engineer our lives for the better and receive healing for what we and others have done with or to each other. I would say that the Karma that we have produces certain reactions or behaviour in others so that they may behave in a certain way in order for me to be challenged on certain issues or situations that I need to practice on, to handle better. For example it can be training on the ability to accept and heal the situation instead of fighting back in a hurting manner.
On the other hand, some might say that the Karma is only your perception of the situation, and that in reality the same things happen to you anyway. And if you have overcome the karma issues, you don’t take notice of the situation which before made you react in a negative way. And then karma could be reduced to something which only happens inside of yourself.
In my experience, the karma mechanism is indeed present between people and create certain dynamics. This I got to experience myself when I got rid of my Karma (from the past) and the relationships to other people and the circumstances changed (for the better!). There certainly was a lot which happened inside, but I am convinced that there was more to it than that.
